car insurance?

Question: I am an international student in US and I am going to buy a car. However, I don't know which insurance company has car insurance for international student. Can anyone tell me some infomation about it, scuh as the name of the company or how much it costs?

Answer: How much it costs is going to vary, based on a bunch of your personal information. Start with www.progressive.com, for insurance. You can get a quote on the internet - you fill out the very personal information, they will email a quote back to you. It will be easier if you have a US license, but if you don't, as long as your license is written in English, it's not a problem. Otherwise, you'll need an international license.

Car insurance?

Question: How much is car insurance? im 15 and im planning on getting a car when i can drive. or my parents are going to buy me a car, and i want a scion tc. it has 2 doors and my parents said the insurance would be expensiver. So how much is a 2 door insurance? because i want the scion TC but if its expensive then my parents won't buy me it :[

Answer: It depends on your driving records and the state you live in. Since, you're a beginner and you want to buy a 2-door car, your insurance will be expensive. It also depends whether you want to get a liability or a full coverage for your car, a full coverage will cost more. Get free quotes from different auto insurances before you buy a car, and find the cheapest. Good luck.

Car Insurance?

Question: I am planning to buy a used 1992 Honda Prelude for $2,700.00. How does the insurance work? Does the price of the car that I paid or the retail price, plays as a factor of how much I would have to pay monthly for insurance. What insurance company would be the best for a new driver with her G2 only? Does anybody have an idea of how much it will cost me (approximately monthly) for the insurance? What other fees or cost will I have to pay for?

Answer: Insurance cost depends on a LOT of factors, which includes but may NOT be limited to: * make, model, trim, and year of car * optional equipment in the car (ABS, traction control, etc.) * theft deterrent equipment in car (alarm, Lojack, etc.) * other equipment in car (fire extinguisher, emergency kit, etc.) * location where it is stored * mileage driven per month * where you drive to and from * your age * your driving record * your gender * your profession / job * amount of coverage you are buying * type of coverage your are buying * and more You should get quotes from as many companies as possible. Honda Prelude is considered a 2-door sports coupe, so insurance will be higher than, say a Ford Taurus GL of same year. Contact a local agent. I personally went with AllState and my agent was quite helpful. Others deal direct with companies like 21st Century, GEICO, Progressive, and so on. It's all up to you. Just make sure you compare the same coverage across different companies.
