Bad Drivers Statistics Women

Where did this idea that women are bad drivers come from?

Question: When men are statistically more likley to get involved in an accident then women. I'm sure we've all seen the companies that only insure women, they only insure them because they're LESS likley to get involved in an accident. I'm not whining, I'm genuinly curious as to how this stereotype can about when it's completely wrong. Answer: The fact that most professional racers are male speak volume. Speaking of accidents, men may get into serious/fatal accidents more but this is only because overall men do far more driving than women. Women actually involved in minor crashes a lot more than men.

Why are women the 'worst' drivers when men have the most accidents?

Question: lol I've read in a book that it was proven that women are naturally bad drivers. But in statistics and on television it shows that men have the most accidents. Personally, I think anyone who talks or texts on a cell phone while driving is an idiot (don't care who you are.) But allot of drivers are horrible no matter what their gender is. But what do you think?

Answer: My insurance agent says that being male or female doesn;t change you insurance cost. Woman have MANY SMALL accidents, whereas men have ONE HUGE accident. So they called it even. I agree with you about the talkin on the phone and driving and so on. if you can talk on your phone and still maintain seventy on the highway and don't get pissed when i pass you we're cool.
