Can I Buy A Car With G1 Ontariocan i buy a car with g1 ontarioForum - Questions & AnswersCan I buy a car with my G1?Question: I have a G1 Ontario drivers license. I have come across a vehicle that I would like to purchase. I won't be driving it until I get my G2 license it will just sit in my driveway. Am I able to do this? How would transfer of ownership go if I have a G1 license? Does it need to be insured if it isn't being driven? PLEASE ONLY ANSWER IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.Answer: From a legal point of view. You can buy a house or even a giant truck, but you cannot drive it until you are qualified as per law. If you own a car and prefer not to drive it for whatever reason, you can stop paying insurance on it.
