Question: So I'm 17 and don't have a license yet, but I wanna buy a car to drive around cause I moved to another city and I'm tired of taking the bus which is always 20 minutes late and cost 3.80$ .. Probably gonna buy a random car from Kijiji or some where... So Can I buy a car just like that? I'll probably ask my brother to get it for me too tho ;P im in canaada montreal

It doesn't address the question of insurance directly. If you need to show your proof of insurance card to register, you might have some problems there since an unlicensed driver can not get insurance.
