17 year old car insurance!?

Question: Hi, like many other 17 year old males I am currently struggling with finding a relatively cheep isurance quote. I have tried comparison sites and they are giving me ridiculous prices like 4000-5000 pound just for a 1.3 Ford KA (2007). I have also tried the black box technology and that still comes up as £2500, and I wish i could find something cheeper. Also do traders policies cover 17 year olds? Any tips or advice to help me get a lower quote would be very much appreciated, thank you.
