drivers ed..is it REALLY worth it?!?

Question: soo im from CANADA! and here you can get ur g1 at 16 (its a written test..and u can only drive with someone who has a licence)..then a year later you can get you g2 (where u can drive alone :) )..BUT if you take drivers ed its 8 months instead of a year! So if i take driver ed i can get my g2 in less then 5 weeks (almost a month!!) if i dont then i ahve to wait till October :(...thats a whole summer without it! its not that big of a deal..its jsut that drivered makes ur insurance cheaper..soo i was wondering how much it will save me?! cuz if it saves me alot AND i get my licence 4 monthes early..then tis worht it!! if id deosnt save me much AND i get my g2 4 months early it really isnt worth it!! cuz it cost anywhere from $350, $400, $450, $500, $550!!!!!!! thnxs <33

Answer: You've answered your own question really. It will cost you, but the time will be shorter and you will get the money back on what you save on insurance. Your choice.
