Male/female insurance question?

Question: Is there a statistic that says how much or by what percentage female drivers is cheaper than male drivers? Are there any websites that show statistics similar to this about gender related insurance/driving? Thanks.

Answer: The new law about not being able to take gender into consideration doesn't actually come into affect until December 2012 including a transition period so all us females have a little more time to get more angry !

Question: This is my data surveying 30 male and 30 female students at a high school randomly with the question "Do you drive?" Male said 17yes and 13no Female said 17yes and 13no The question that needs to be answer using statistics solution is: Do more males drive than females? 1.Construct a 98% confidence interval for the difference in the two population proportions. Include an interpretation of what the interval is telling you about the difference. 2. Complete a hypothesis test on the male and female using a .05 level of significance. Make sure to state a null and alternate hypotheses, include p-value for the test and a conclusion about whether you reject or fail to reject the Ho. 3. Discuss the possible Type I and Type II errors that could occur. I've been sick this few weeks due to breathing problems mostly and this is my assessment homework, which I do not understand and is a big part of my grade. I'm still feeling sick and can't move as much or I will collapse, so I stay home. I will give points to best answer and my teacher won't exempt me for this due to it being counted as an assessment. I really do appreciate the help and thank you.
